The AFR Difference: Setting The Gold Standard
Why we don't just say "Dustless"—we engineer the environment.
Not all flooring removal is created equal. While others rely solely on tools to minimize mess, we rely on a complete ecosystem of containment and air filtration. Below is our verifiable, repeatable process for protecting your home and HVAC system.
Typical "Dustless" Service
What most competitors offer as "clean":
- Equipment Only: Relies 100% on tool attachments.
- Basic Vacuums: Standard shop-vacs that clog quickly.
- No Air Scrubbing: Airborne particles remain floating.
- Two-Step Ignored: Often skips the critical bond-grinding phase.
AFR Gold Standard
The ultimate protection for occupied estates:
- Sealed Containment: Tactical isolation of work zones.
- HEPA Air Scrubbing: We actively clean the air as we work.
- Full Bond Grinding: We ensure a 100% clean slab via a 2-step process.
- Industrial HEPA Filters: Verified filtration on all containers.
Why Professional Installs Require "Dust Contained" Protocols
A professional installation on a dry, properly prepped slab creates a bond that is practically permanent. When removing high-quality thinset and thin tile, the project becomes a complex Two-Step Process:
Material Separation
Mechanically breaking the bond of the tile or hardwood from the subfloor.
Bond Grinding
Mechanical grinding to remove the microscopic residue from the slab. This stage creates the highest volume of fine silica dust.
Note: Because a dry-slab bond produces significantly more fine-particle dust than a standard DIY removal, our Dust Contained ecosystem is a technical necessity to ensure your home remains pristine.
Our Multi-Layered Dust Management
Attached directly to chipping and grinding heads to catch dust at the source.
Every container is equipped with certified HEPA filters to ensure zero exhaust of fine particles.
We run industrial air scrubbers throughout the project to pick up "leftover" invisible particles.
We hermetically seal off doorways to zones not being worked on, creating a pressurized barrier.
The AFR Transformation: Dust Contained Precision
From initial isolation to the final white-glove handoff.
Tactical Setup
Establishing clear boundaries and negative pressure protocols.
Exterior Venting
Sealing zones and venting air directly outside to ensure zero interior drift.
Active Scrubbing
Industrial HEPA units cycle the air, keeping microscopic particles contained.
White Glove Result
A pristine, ground-smooth slab ready for your new floor installation.
