AFR Protocol & Preparation

The 9:00 AM Standard:
Prep Checklist

Ensure a flawless start. How to prepare your “Occupied” home for our arrival window.

Your Project is Scheduled

We look forward to serving you tomorrow.

Standard Arrival Window: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Pre-Flooring Removal & Installation

The First Morning

Our Advanced Flooring Removal (AFR) team will arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. This initial time is used to prep the work van, secure the perimeter, and gather necessary materials for tactical containment.

Coordination

Unless other arrangements were made, please be onsite the first morning to walk the job with us and confirm the exact scope of work to be performed.

Daily Schedule

After the initial walkthrough, your lead AFR specialist will discuss daily start times with you. We strive to accommodate your schedule, whether you prefer earlier or later starts.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a safe, efficient, and dust-contained process, please review the requirements based on the service basis you selected: “Empty” or “Occupied”.

Option A

“Empty” Status

This status means the workspace is completely ready for work upon our arrival.

  • Applicable for new construction with no furniture.
  • Or, you have made prior arrangements to have all furniture removed from the workspace entirely.
Most Common
Option B

“Occupied” Status

This status means the AFR team will handle moving your large furniture. However, you must prepare the following prior to our arrival:

  • Remove all bedding and linens.
  • Clear all closet floors completely.
  • Clear floors of small loose items (toys, shoes, rugs).
  • Clear tables, dressers, and counters of knickknacks and breakables.

Completion & Payment

The Final Walk-Through

Upon completion of the project, we ask that you be present to walk the job with your lead AFR specialist. If there are any issues, please address them during this time so we can resolve them immediately. You will be asked to sign off on the completion and satisfaction of the job.

(Note: Signing off does not mean we won’t acknowledge or help with problems that may arise in the future—we stand by our Gold Standard work).

Final Payment Protocol

We have made the payment process seamless. You do not need to worry about paying on the spot. You will receive an official invoice via email from our office, sent in the exact same format as your original estimate.

Why Professional Installs Are Harder to Remove

A "dry slab" and high-quality thinset create a bond that is practically permanent. When removing thin tile installed by a professional, the removal becomes a Two-Step Process: first the tile, then the bonded thinset. This generates a significantly higher volume of fine silica dust, which is why our Dust Contained ecosystem is a necessity, not an option.
